Windows 10: Cant get any games to download through XBOX app on PC

Any help would be much appreciated, I have tried downloading the app, changing network settings, and re-logging into Xbox. However, whenever I try to download Sea of Thieves it switches from queued to downloading over and over again and makes not progress.

How do I stop Xbox app on PC from having to unpack games after already downloading them?

1. SSD Upgrade: If you're not already using a Solid State Drive (SSD) for your game installations, consider upgrading. SSDs significantly reduce the time it takes to unpack and install games compared to traditional Hard Disk Drives (HDDs).
   
2. Ensure Enough Space: Make sure you have more than enough space on your installation drive. Lack of space can cause the unpacking process to slow down significantly as the system struggles to manage disk space.
   
3. Close Background Applications: Close unnecessary applications running in the background. Unpacking is both disk and CPU intensive. Other applications can slow this process down.
   
4. Reset the Xbox App: If the problem persists, try resetting the Xbox app. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find the Xbox app, select Advanced options, and then click Reset.
   
5. Reinstall the Xbox App: If resetting doesn't help, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the Xbox app.
   

Unfortunately, there's no way to completely bypass the unpacking process as it is an essential step in the installation of downloaded games. However, by following the above tips, you can ensure that the process is as quick and smooth as possible.

Xbox PC App Error

We appreciate your response and cooperation regarding this matter. Based on your reply, it appears that you need to enable the Xbox services to ensure that the app is up and running. You may follow the steps below to enable Xbox Live services:

• Press the Start button and type Services on the search box.
• On the list of services, look for Xbox Live Auth Manager,
  Xbox Live Game Save, and Xbox Live Networking Service.

The next steps should be done to the three mentioned services above:

• Right click on the service and select Properties.
• Set the Startup type to Automatic. If the service isn't started, click
  Start.
• Save the changes.
• Launch the Xbox App and sign in to your account again.
