Windows 10: Cant downgrade windows 11 from 23H2 to 22H2

Recently i upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11 23H2 but I need to have 22H2 installed. When I try to run the installation for 22H2 from my USB, after a while I get the error message "Windows 11 Installation has failed" and cannot install further. Is there anyway to fix this?

Install of 23h2 on Win11 wipes out successful install of 22h2

From 22H2, you can simply install a tiny enablement package to upgrade to 23H2.

If possible, share your setup logs on OneDrive. This can help us understand why the system was downgraded to 21H2.

• Open the "C:\windows\panther\" folder.
  
• Upload "setupact.log" to OneDrive/Dropbox/WeTransfer.
  

 

Cannot install Windows 11 23H2

The build number 22631.2506 implies the device has been upgraded to 23H2 already.

Here are the version/build numbers for Windows 11.

• 22000.xxx is 21H2
  
• 22621.xxx is 22H2
  
• 22631.xxx is 23H2
