Windows 10: Can't change my output volume when the microphone is in use

Hello, for a few days now I've had this issue where whenever my microphone is in use, my audio quality becomes terrible and a lot louder for some reason, and using the volume controls to increase/decrease output volume just doesn't work. I've found out that reason audio quality diminishes is because my earbuds go into hands-free mode which sucks why can't windows just access the microphone and give me good audio quality :/ , but not being able to adjust output volume sucks and I can't figure out why it does this.For some reason even if my laptops built-in microphone is being used instead of

My suggestion: Get a meter that measures the actual volume being output. Make note of what percentage on the Windows volume control corresponds to what actual physical volume as measured by the meter. Make a list of several places along the way, maybe every 5 or 10 percent and what that corresponds with in real life.

 

Headphones' Microphone Volume Under the "Levels" Tab Disappeared

We suggest that you check the following steps on how to raise the mic volume:

• Check the Speaker icon on the system tray. Right click on it and choose "Recording Devices" menu.
  
• This will show Sound window. Go to Recording tab of Sound window, you will notice the microphone which is active that has a green check mark. Right click on the active microphone and select "Properties".
  
• You will now see Microphone Properties window. Go to the
  Levels tab and you will now see Microphone and
  Microphone Boost. You can use the sliders to modify your volume settings. Click
  OK button to save changes.
