Windows 10: Cant activate Windows 10 after reset

HiFor a few years now I have had a problem with my connection to the internet had multiple ISP's and different routers and suspected it was Windows that was causing the problem. Until Wednesday I had been able to fix it with diagnose connection or disable/enable connection and eventually it would show the icon am connected in bottom right of screen.But I came back off a walk and plugged everything back in and just couldn't connect to the internet, so tried the reset this pc keep files option and now I can connect to the internet and don't have the problem that has plagued me for years, but t

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
