Windows 10: Can't access Cortana's setting. Keeps freezing once I click settings.

I'm really looking for a fix for my problem. I'm trying to access the settings for Cortana, the program works fine and all but I want to access the settings but once I bring up the options and specifically click settings,Cortana freezes and forces me to have to end the task, and it happens every time. What can I do?

Cortana shows incorrect location.

Cortana needs to use precise location.

It's probably cause Cortana location is turned off (or grayed out and can't be turned on). I had this problem on Windows 10 1719 (Fall Creator's Update) and here's how to fix it.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Location tab, scroll down and under Cortana click the switch to turn location on.

If it's off and gray (can't be clicked) do the following.:

Home (to get to settings) > Cortana > Permission & History tab, click "Manage the information Cortana can access from this device" and in the new window turn on Location (and everything else you want). Then, once again go to:

Settings > Privacy > Location tab and verify that Cortana precise location is turned on (but still grayed out).

To turn it off again, just undo the above information access.

Anyone have any Idea what I can do?

 

I have still been at it, and there is no way I can possibly access the "Cortana and Search settings" Area, Please someone help.

 

yea man cortana is hit and miss.... mine works, i can access the setting but the "hey cortana" doesn't work. voice doesn't work.... sucks man.... i'm not sure what i turned off.

 

Click on the Notification icon in the Taskbar's lower right. When it pops up, go to All Settings and then type Cortana in the search bar in the upper right. You should see Cortana & Search Settings. Hopefully Cortana will come up and you can change the settings.
