    Canon Solution menu ex - driver


    I have changed my computer. OS is W11. I need to use a printer PIXMA MP 280 on this computer. Therefor I have downloaded SW Canon Solution menu ex, which worked on my last comp. I am now getting this message at start up- "A driver supporting Solution Menu Ex is not installed." What do I do?

    Yesterday Microsoft updated our Windows 10. Now our Canon MG6100 printer is not working properly - the Solution Menus EX is missing - with the same message as above - a driver supporting the Menu is not installed. Consequently, we no longer have the tools
    needed to operate our printer properly and at the very least our scanner has been completely disabled. Can Microsoft please restore the driver that was removed yesterday ASAP! Thank you.

    I finally upgraded to windows 10. I am now getting this message at start up-
    "A driver supporting Solution Menu Ex is not installed."

    What do I do? I saw canon printer was mentioned in some of the posts. I do have a Canon all in one.

    By the way, I did try the advice above - downloaded the Solution Menu Ex again, used the compatability mode trouble shooter etc all to no avail. A driver has been removed, Canon can't work without it - I want it back.
