Windows 10: CANON MX250 printer scanner won't work

I have an old Canon MX350 printer scanner using my wifi BlueTooth. Since I converted my laptop one+ year ago from W10 to W11, I can no longer use the Canon softeware. For 1 year, I've been using the MS print scan function but it no longer works as of two weeks ago, for using the wifi BlueTooth for scanning. The Canon printer scanner has worked flawlessly for over 10 years and I don't want to scrap a perfectly good unit. I have tried everything. to connect the scan function to wifi BlueTooth. New drivers not available. Canon say the MX350 is no longer supported etc. It does work flawlessly u

Like the previous poster suggested, unplug the USB cable from the printer and turn off the printer.
Start the installation of the drivers, watch the install windows VERY CAREFULLY as there will be instructions as to when you need to plug the USB cable into the printer and turn the printer on.
I ran into this exact scenario when I installed my printer after a Windows 10 Pro install (1909).
The printer ran fine but when I tried to use the scanner, no dice...
Printer is Canon MG6820.

The only other thing I can suggest if that doesn't work is to turn your firewall off, turn off any anti-virus software, and then do the driver installation again following the install windows VERY CAREFULLY.
I had to do that step on a Windows 7 Pro PC in order for the scanner to work.

Canon MX860 scanner not working

I recently installed Windows 10 and like it but the problem is my printer/scanner will not scan to my computer. I have tried various things even contacted Canon. They do not plan on updated the Canon MX860 printer/scanner. Any suggestions I downloaded
the Windows Scan app it works, it sends them to the computer but I can't print the sheet out, .

Thank you for including the screen shot of the error. You may try the below suggested steps to fix the issue.

1. Connect the Printer to wireless router.
   
2. Run the printer software from the Canon site to download and the set the printer up on the PC.
   
3. Download the IJ scan Utility and try attempting to scan documents.
   
4. If you still notice the same error, hold down the stop button (Red Button) on the printer for 10 seconds or until the error light goes off and release it.
