Windows 10: Cannot stop screen dimming after 30 seconds after latest Win 11 Update

Screen dimming after 30 seconds till mouse moved. Latest Win 11 update has no way I can find to turn this off. Recommendations point to settings under brightness that are not available.

Screen dimming after 20 seconds

This just started today, but my laptop screen dims every 20 seconds if I'm not doing anything. Doesn't matter if I'm gaming, watching a video or whatever, if there's no mouse movement or key strokes, the screen dims from it's highest to lowest setting without fail.

I've tried adjusting the power options, ensured that 'turn off display' and 'sleep' are set to 'never' for all settings, confirmed my drivers on my GPU are up to date, ran all Windows updates, checked the registry and confirmed that the brightness settings are set to %100... I'm at a complete loss as to why this is happening. What's even more strange is that nothing, that I'm aware of, updated today or yesterday, but the issue began as soon as I started my laptop this morning...

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on how to stop this, I'd love to hear them.

 

Dim screen Win 10?

Have read the blogs. Windows 10 needs to make it EASY for people to dim their screen. This is my 3rd Toshiba laptop and it was easy to adjust the screen on all 3 including this one, until windows 10. Will buy a new laptop without Win 10 before I'll go
through all the steps to dim screen in win 10 that is listed in the blogs I've read. I did stall an APP that helped but screen still hurts my eyes and creates a headache. Anybody have an EASY answer. It was so easy to work with DOS and windows 3.1. It's been
a pain for a lot of people ever since they came up with the REGISTRY. Thanks people.

 

Windows 11 screen dims at random

I just got a new machine with Windows 11, and every time I use it for more than a few seconds, the screen dims.

How can I stop this?
