Windows 10: cannot install printer driver for Oki Data Pro8432WT. Windows will not install it.

So I have new Dell computer. I am trying to install a Printer Driver from the manufacturer Oki Data Pro8432WT. But windows will not allow me to install. Windows was updated recently with Windows 11 and any other updates from windows. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. i have tried to install via network but still no luck. Please advise any helpThank youJason

A peripheral like a printer requires manual driver installation before it can be recognized by the computer completely. This is required since each printer has its own features based on their manufacturers.
To make sure that we can provide the appropriate resolution to your concern with your printer, we'd like to ask you a few questions:

• Which version or build of Windows device are you using? To know, press
  Windows + R to open the Run window. Type winver
  and press Enter. A new window will open showing the version and build number of your Windows device.
• Did you recently upgrade/update your computer?
• Is this a network printer?
• Do you have a CD driver installer for this printer?
• Can you check the manufacturer's website for any updates for the printer?

Printer Driver for an OKI C3100

Will be happy to see your printer working with Windows 10.

First of all make a System Image as a precaution if anything gets corrupted during troubleshooting steps.

I extensively searched on the "official website" but could not find any drivers listed for OKI C3100 Printer
but it was listed as compatible printers with windows 10. So, you should contact them for driver, etc. help.

If you want to look for 3rd party drivers / driver solutions, you may try Snappy Driver Installer. You should install only a good driver & only for the printer.

You may also try Station-Drivers.com forum for drivers.

It can be helpful to provide them with the Hardware ID of the
printer from the Device Manager.

Above all you should not think that the printer is not workable with windows 10 & try to find what is wrong on your side. For eg. Refer the manual for the printer installation process. Many times it asks to connect printer only when the driver installation
/ utility asks to do so or the printer will not install / work properly.

An already corrupted driver installation can need to be uninstalled first.

An official solution / help is the best bet!
