    Since installing Windows 11 updates on my work laptop, I cannot access my microphone on the WhatsApp Desktop app, unless I use my headphones. WhatsApp keeps telling me to go to my privacy and security settings and allow use of microphone, but I have done this many times, and it still does not register that I have given access. I have also gone into the app settings on Windows, the direct settings for WhatsApp, I have tried repairing the app from Windows, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have checked for all updates. Even my IT department is having trouble determining the issue. I

    Whatsapp video call not working on desktop app

    I am using windows 10 pro, build 19042. I installed Whatsapp desktop app from Microsoft store, but the video call is not working properly. After I click the call/video call option on the desktop app, the options grey out & do not connect immediately, the call connects after 40-45 seconds.

    The video calling used to work fine on the Whatsapp standalone software, which is outdated now. The issue exists on the Whatsapp app that I installed from Microsoft store.

    Please tell me how do I fix it?

    I cannot make voice calls while in messenger? I have checked privacy to make sure microphone and camera is on.
