  2. Windows 10 Pro for Workstations Media Creation Tool

We are an IT company that routinely performs scratch installs for Windows 10 Pro using the Windows 10 Media Creation tool.

We now have several accounts that required Windows 10 Pro for Workstations and I do not believe this is an option in the standard Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.

Can someone please confirm if Windows 10 Pro for Workstations can / cannot be installed using the standard Windows 10 Media Creation Tool. And, if not, how are users supposed to perform scratch installs with the latest Windows 10 build available at that
    time.

    Thanks!

Windows 10 Pro for Workstations Media Creation Tool

    Ross,

We are not purchasing upgrades, we are purchasing computers already licensed for Windows 10 Pro for Workstations. The question is how to reload or scratch install since no manufacturer provides installation media and the standard process for other editions
of Windows 10 is the Media Creation Tool.

Windows 10 Pro for Workstations Media Creation Tool

Can someone from Microsoft please respond to this?

How are we supposed to do a scratch install for Windows 10 Pro for Workstations if there is no current installation media available? This is not about purchasing 1 product and then upgrading as one user noted above (not sure why I would ever want to do
this in the 1st place). Per Microsoft's own best practices, we have been using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to install the current build of Windows 10 for all new installs as well as for reinstalling a computer due to HW failure, etc.

If Windows 10 Pro for Workstations CANNOT be installed using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, how are we supposed to perform a scratch installation or reinstall a computer?

    Thanks.
