  1. Can you transfer program files and windowsApps from an internal SSD to an internal HDD?

Hello, I want to upgrade my 256gb SSD to a 2 TB SSD. I got on western digital and found a compatible SSD with the help of their customer support and got it in. I removed the 256gb SSD and installed the 2 TB SSD and then only the BIOS 5 screen would come up. I found the new SSD in the system status tab, but it would not show up anywhere else. It did not show up in the priority boot section either. I then had to reinstall the 256 SSD to get back to figure out why. I have found some files on the SSD that I assume are relevant to boot up. I had the idea of transferring the files to my 2 TB HDD and

  2. Upgrading Internal HDD to SSD

I have a Toshiba Satelite S855 with an internal HDD that I am upgrading to an SSD. The HDD is already running windows 10 from the free upgrade opportunity. Once installed, I want to be booting from the new SSD and the HDD will be a storage drive replacing
the CD bay. I want to do a clean wipe on the HDD.

What would be the best way to ensure that the SSD ends up with windows 10? I've been given a multitude of answers from people but nobody seems to be confident. I've been told to clone the drives then simply wipe the HDD. I've also been told that I should be
able to wipe the HDD, install the SSD in the C drive, and then simply install windows 10 from a USB media device. This is the first time I've done something like this so I just want to be sure in my ways.

So would either of those options work correctly? And if not, how should this be done?

    Thanks!

  3. Internal HDD not accessible

I bought HP Notebook on 31 March 2021 from authorized dealer City Computer Resources with following details:

    Batch HP 15S DY3001TU

    Intel I3 11th Gen processor

    8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 15.6’FHD

    Win10Home, MS Office Home & Student 2019

    With 1 year warranty.

I was using the notebook very effectively, however, recently, notebook fell down from very low height and the internal HDD could not be accessed. To start the work on notebook I install SSD in the notebook and removed the internal HDD. I am trying to access the data that is internal HDD but was unsuccessful.

Inconsistent internal HDD data transfer speed

    Hello,

I'm getting inconsistent internal HDD data transfer speeds. The speeds go up and down and sometime pauses at 0 mb/s for a few seconds.

    Never seen this before.

Using Windows 11. I actually have a X670e motherboard. It was happening on this board and I thought it was the board at first. swap to another new board (but same board), problems persist. I have multiple internal HDD, and the issue is not isolated to a specific HDD.

Installed new Corsair Dominator RAM and the cpu is new with the Ryzen 9 7900x.

I'm thinking its probably something I need to troubleshoot in Windows 11. Thoughts? Thank you!
