Can we fix "allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes"

I sometimes install apps that return "Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device ?" every time they start. I understand the is because there is a mismatch in the publisher name in the project properties in the app. I have found a workaround in Win10, but don't understand why Microsoft does not provide a better solution. There are lots functions is Windows that keeps track of things on an in or out basis, so why not here ? A simple list that is checked for apps you DO trust should not be a big deal. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this ?

    Thanks
    Jack

    :)

  3. unknown publisher

I keep getting requests to allow to make changes to my computer from an unknown publisher. The program name is CM Tray.exe. What is that? Should I allow? If not, how do I prevent this message from appearing?

Can we fix "allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes"

Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device

When I tried to run command prompt with elevated privileges i.e. run as administrator. Rather than displaying “do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer” it shows a message for an unknow
publisher i.e. “Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device."

Tried to run services.msc & InetMgr.exe. It says “the app has been blocked for your protection”

Which microsoft certificate chain should I restore? Do I need to import certs from another PC? Is there any tool available Or do I need to run the repair.

    Thanks
