  2. Windows detects SSD drive as HDD

Hello, i have three disks in my PC

    C: M.2 1TB SSD (windows drive)

    D: 1TB HDD

    E: M.2 1TB SSD

i freshly installed windows 11 pro, in task manager the only disk showing up as a SSD is my windows drive. the two other drives as HDD

i unplugged my HDD and formatted my E: disk again. then with only SSD drives running both shows up as SSD and it works, but as soon as i plugged the HDD back in and formatted it again, my E: (SSD) changed to HDD.

i have also benchmarked the Write speeds and my E: caps at the same speed as my HDD (260mb/s~) and it supposed to be at 3500 mb/s

    help

can`t detect my hdd drive 1tb and 480 ssd

Confused about hard drives: HDD and SSD

The capacities for the drives use the same definition. 1TB is 1TB whether it's a HDD, SDD or RAM for that matter.

What you're seeing is that SSDs are more expensive for the same amount of space and you can't get SSDs that are as large as the biggest HDDs.
