Windows 10: can not delete or move or rename pdf file

I have a pdf file on my desktop with a very long name that I cannot delete, rename, or move. Every attempt fails. I get no error message telling me that the file is in use by another program...it simply won't disappear or allow me to change its name. I have tried running Command Prompt as an administrator but it says it cannot file the file specified. But there it is on the desktop, and I can open it using Foxit reader. When I try to open it using Acrobat Adobe reader DC it says "The path does not exist."I have tried every solution I can find online, including rebooting, scanning, etc. Nothing

We were checking on this issue and we would like you to know some more information on this.

• Did you try moving the file to a different location and then delete it?
• When you renamed the file, did you renamed it to a generic type like Test.pdf/file.pdf and then tried to delete it?
• Where did you create this PDF file or downloaded online?

We would suggest you to move the PDF file to a different location and then try deleting it.

Delete and Cut Files with Preview Pane Open

• Have you tried to delete the pdf file in preview panel?
• What exactly happens when try to delete the pdf file?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Open File Explorer.
  
• 
  Select View and click on preview panel.
  
• 
  Select the pdf file.
  
• 
  At the right corner you will be able to see preview panel.
  
• 
  You can right click on it and delete the files.

File explorer crashing on windows 11 when renaming, moving or deleting PDF files

I have windows 11 and everytime I want to rename, delete or move a pdf file, my file explorer crashes. What is the cause and how can I fix? The only way i found around moving and renaming is by opening the pdf in microsoft edge and saving as a new file, which creates duplicates
