Windows 10: camera window is not compatible with the detected camera

I am running windows 11. I have a SX70 and am really struggling getting my camera to pair up to the computer so I can use canons utility to download pics and vids. I saw an earlier post with this same problem but it was for 2014 which isnt relevant now. Please help me.

How can I make my computer detect my integrated camera?

Not even the default windows 10 camera app can detect my laptop camera. I've looked online and they suggested checking device manager, but my camera didn't show up there either. Here's my computer hardware:
My computer specs. I have an msi laptop, but unfortunately, I don't know what the model number is because it isn't written anywhere on the laptop.

 

Read camera memory card

I have a Pentax Optio 330RS camera. I should be able to connect the camera to my HP Envy15 laptop by cable to download the photos on the memory card or from the camera's internal memory to the laptop. It doesn't work and I suspect that the camera's software is not compatible with Windows 10 ( v1809) on the laptop. Can anyone confirm this and perhaps suggest a way I can read the camera's memory card?
