my camera is in black and white. How do I change it to color?

I did everything you said but after rebooting, my camera is still showing black and white. Any other suggestions?

 

Using Camera App and photos are only in black and white

Using the camera app on windows 10 (first time using it). It is only showing black and white and not in color. Same thing happens when using video conferencing apps like zoom or google meetings. Need to get it to show in color.

any suggestions? Looks like the drivers are up to date.

Some laptop cameras have the ability to capture both visible light and infrared images, so this may be the reason why your camera displays black and white images. Please confirm this in Device Manager. Follow the steps below.



Press Win + X keys and select "Device Manager" from the pop-up menu.



In the list of devices in Device Manager, there is a category called "Cameras". Click to expand and you will usually see the camera devices installed on your computer.



Camera devices may also be listed under the "Imaging devices" category. Click to expand to see a detailed list of devices.
