Windows 10: camera cannot be found, searcing in system information I find that program...

searching for the camera, which is buildt in, I get the message Camera can't be found, error: 0xA00F4244L, and it is notvisible in device manager either

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

 

camera sensor ov8858 can not start

In addition you may also install the driver of the software in Compatibility mode by following these steps.

• Download the appropriate driver from the manufacturer's website.
• Right click on setup file.
• Click on Properties.
• Navigate to Compatibility tab.
• Put a check mark on Run this program in compatibility mode for.
• Select the operating system to which the driver is available. (suggested is Windows 7/8)
• Put a check mark on Run this program as an administrator under Privilege Level.
