Windows 10: C:\Program Files x86\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe....The parameter is incorrect...

I contacted Microsoft Windows support. I got the message "a service request has been opened....open it now" I clicked on "open it now" but nothing happened. I waited 20 minutes, kept clicking on "open it now". Nothing happens. I'm at a loss of what to do, how to get rid of the "the parameter is incorrect"I just downloaded a bunch of Windows updates just before this message appeared.

microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86 won't install

I would suggest you to check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86 is installed in your computer.

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.

Edge executable file location in registry

The Notebook I'm on now has the Edge at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" although in Edge, Help and about describes it as 64-bit. I find no .exe in Program Files or ProgramData folders.

 

The parameter is incorrect error

I started receiving the following error yesterday and not sure why or how to fix it.

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_18.1910.1283.0_x64_Bw...\LocalBridge.exe

The Parameter is Incorrect.
