The computer that I have been using since 2019 has been throwing intermittent blue screen error that have become more frequent that appear to be associated with a driver that I have not been able to identify.Processor AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.60 GHzInstalled RAM 16.0 GBSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorMinidump filesI also tried stability testing with OCCT and it found a large number of errors on physical core #1 - logical core #3. Appreciate any help you can offer.

What could be causing BSOD driver failure

I've tried the driver verifier steps and the files are here.

The issue happened after closing the Steel Series app, reopening it, and then trying to open windows security app which resulted in the BSOD.

With diver verifier turned on the crash repeatedly occurred on boot with failure to boot.

Then I turned off driver verifier and it booted fine.

    Hi meakashi,

Welcome to the 10forums for both of you BSOD caused by driver failures :)

I would suggest to visit Acer to update or re-install all the drivers available for Windows 10.
Re-installing drivers removes corruption what helps improving system stability.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.
