Windows 10: brightness low

HI there was one day when my laptop battery was low and a logo pop up on my screen and the brightness went low and till now the laptop is fully charged but the brightness cannot be increased even if i use the slider to Max. Hope someone can hlp me out tys alot.

Adjust your monitor's brightness and contrast

Method 2: I suggest you to update the display drivers and check if the issue persists.

Steps to update the drivers for the Display Adapter.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on Update.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

Hi Ella,

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

n82 VERY LOW brightness!

hi, I've just purchased a n82 and the first thing I noticed is the display backlight:

it's TOO LOW!

and the strange thing is that it's not a hardware limitation: brightness is software locked to about 50% of its full potential (with brightness setting slider set to 100%)..

it's very very low compared to n95 or n73 or ANY other symbian phone..

I found it being a software limitation because I tried to install SYGIC (which has an "internal" software brightness controller which I think temporarily overrides the system one) and the screen suddenly became VERY VERY BRIGHT.

if I try to open other applications (or just to open menu screen) while sygic is on background the brightness does not change, but when i close sygic everything sadly returns dark!

updating phone FW did not solve this problem.

and no, my phone is not broken: every other n82 I've seen does the same.

any suggestion on how to fix the brightness? maybe a 3rd party patch-app?

brightness limitation is also noticeable activating silent mode on your phone and calling it: the screen starts blinking with FULL brightness.
