Windows 10: Boot Problems Even When Computer is Completely Okay.

My computer is okay it dosent have any BSOD but most of the time it has boot problems my computer is gpt and has a processor of intel core i7 - 4700mq cpu and the product is lenovo thinkpad l540. when i boot up the manufacturer logo appears for more than 1 minute instead of the normal 2-5 seconds. and it directly leads you to the boot menu. when you try to select your disk which is ada hddo storm for me, it still goes back to the boot menu. how did i boot to my pc normally? it only happens if you're lucky. why dont i try commands? well the bootrec fixmbr command dosen't work because my disk is

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.
