    Bluetooth speaker shows connected but no sound - Bluetooth Avrcp Transport Driver missing


    I recently bought a Stanmore ll Bluetooth speaker and connected to my Windows 10 Laptop - It worked fine.For a couple of months I did not use that speaker on this system but another desktop that I have and yes it works like a charm.And then again I needed to connected the same speaker to my Laptop and guess what ? - it connects but no sounds.I tried comparing Bluetooth drivers in my Desktop and Laptop and there I found an anomaly - Avrcp Transport Driver for my Stanmore is not showing up when I connect the device.I tried looking up forums , articles and other blog posts only to end up with lit

    Bluetooth speaker says connected but no sound.

    In Sounds it shows the device but in Bluetooth it shows the same device and on the next line underneath is shows it with Avrcp Transport Adapter after the device.

    How to completely remove a Bluetooth device from Win 10?

    Hmmm...Mine looks like this:

    2. Show Hidden Devices
    3. Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers
    4. Select USB Host Controller
    5. Switch view to Show Devices by Connection
    6. Expand and capture a screenshot.
