  1. Bluetooth Keyboard Touchpad Sensitivity

I am using a generic bluetooth keyboard with W10 Home 64 bit.

    One of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Ultra-Slim-Wireless-Bluetooth-Keyboard-with-Trackpad-QWERTY-UK-Layout/401351473876

The keyboard and touchpad work fine. But the touchpad is very sensitive. It often interprets a movement as a click and drag and windows fly off a 49" screen.

So I have to be very light with the touch. I want to reduce the sensitivity. There is no touchpad listed in Settings - Devices. Only a mouse.

In Device Manager the touchpad is listed as a HID-compliant mouse. If I uninstall the driver, the touchpad doesn't work until PC is rebooted.

W10 appears to be using mouclass.sys and mouhid.sys version 10.0.18362

So looking for a better driver that will give more functionality?????

    :)

  2. touchpad sensitivity

    Hi Joobster,

When you mean Touchpad sensitivity, are you referring to the pointer speed of your touchpad? Or are you referring to the touch/pressure sensitivity of your touchpad whenever to press your fingers on your touchpad?

If you are referring to the pointer speed, you may follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
    • Type "main.cpl" and hit enter.
    • Click Pointer Options.
    • Under Motion, select the pointer speed you wanted for your touchpad.

Regarding the Touch/pressure sensitivity, then you will need to contact your PC manufacturer to assist you on installing the right drivers for your touchpad.

Let us know how it goes.
