    the above mentioned headphone does not work. it connects to the computer, but is not recognized as a playback device. before the update around may if I remember it was working on this computer.


    The manufacturer tells me it is because the headphone which works without any problem on other devices is not recognized because my windows doesn't have a 'Bluetooth handsfree service', only 'Bluetooth support service'.


    how and where can I get this handsfree service? How can I solve this problem for which I am already searching a long time for a solution.

    No, you didn't miss a step. the Bowers and Wilkins PX headphones work great in Apple and Android systems, but they fail miserably in Windows 10. I have been trying for a few days to get them to connect to Win10, fail.

    One would think that a company that charges PREMIUM for their product would not have these issues. I'm throwing mine in the trash and going back to Bose. At least they connect and are usable. Then I'm going to the internet to let everyone know how miserably
    difficult they are to connect.

    Bowers and Wilkins PX Headphones connecting to Windows 10

    I was dealing with this problem for months. The trick is to do the factory reset on the PX using the app. Remove any previously connected PX devices on your Windows 10 machine, then put the PX in pairing mode. Start pairing on the Windows 10 machine and
    wait until the PX with headphones icon appears. Ignore the other PX device that appears first.

    If the PX with headphones icon doesn't appear, maybe try again?
