Windows 10: Bluetooth connected, but audio only plays from monitor

When I connect my headphones to my PC's Bluetooth, my headphones confirm they've been connected. Though, when I go to watch or play music, it plays on my monitor instead of in my headphones. I've tried two different apps to update my drivers, I've tried to revert to old Bluetooth drivers, When I go to Settings > System > Sound > More Sound Settings playback settings, my device says 'disconnected'. When I right click to connect it, nothing happens. Furthermore, when I right click, 'Set as default' is faded out and I am unable to set it as default. When I go to sound settings Setting

I'm having a weird problem that I can't figure out and it's driving me nuts.

All that I'm attempting to do is to listen to the podcasts that I have on my Android smart phone through the speakers on my computer via Bluetooth. This worked in Win 8, but since upgrading to 10 I'm encountering a problem.

The computer will pair with the phone with no issues. It will also connect with the device via Bluetooth, no issues there either. But I can't make it pull the audio from the phone. When connected, the audio still plays through the phone, and not the computer.

I've poked around audio settings, and can't find anything. I installed drivers specific to the phone, that did not work. I also went to Dell's site and installed Bluetooth drivers that are specific to my computer. No change.

Any suggestions?

Not really that helpful actually. I didn't have trouble connecting before trying the suggestions, but now it won't stay connected. Looses connection in about 5 seconds. That said, my problem wasn't getting connected in the first place, it was getting audio
from by Bluetooth speaker.

So now I guess I have a connectivity issue as well.
