Windows 10: Black transluscent box

I have a transluscent black box at the top left of my screen that shows my cpu and the percent of usage of my ram and other things. it shows up when i put my cursor at the top right of my screen how do i get rid of it.

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it

Transluscent box at top left of screen.

Hello everyone, long-time follower, first-time "contributor" here in the community. I have a transluscent box at the top left of my display. It is there, no matter what application I have open (or not). This box does not appear, however, when I take a screen shot, so I've attached a photo here. I have access to any of the buttons "behind" the box, no problem there - but obviously something isn't right, and if it's my monitor (Philips), it's still under warranty (but not for too much longer), so I'd like to take care of that asap. It first appeared yesterday after I had been playing a YouTube longplay (3 hour Sunday jazz music video, with the monitor off. The monitor is much newer than the desktop computer, and I don't have any special graphics cards/setups. Because the monitor is new, I have the factory HDMI cable plugged into a converter for the old VGA input. The monitor is still on factory settings, as I found it satisfactory right out of the box. I've not yet experienced any difficulties with this setup. I'm running Windows 10 Home version 21H1. If there is anyone who knows how to fix this, I'd be very appreciative of your response!!
