Windows 10: Bitlocker locked my notebook

Hello.I bought a laptop, installed Windows 11, entered credentials that I partially forgot, and specified someone else’s email to restore, which I don’t have access to.After updating the laptop BIOS, Bitlocker blocked my computer.How can I fix this?I have a laptop, its box and a receipt, I also have a transaction and a receipt.

Bitlocker frequently locking computers

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately these suggestions don't really fit our needs. We want to use BitLocker and don't want to disable it. The problem we have is that it locks some of our computers from time to time. Ideally we will make use of BitLocker but not have it blocking our computers.

I have tried:

1. Turning off BitLocker
   
2. Installing all Driver and Windows Updates
   
3. Turning BitLocker back on again
   

Maybe this will help. We will wait and see.

 

Problems with account, notebook bitlocker recovery

I am use that account during installations, and now notebook locked by bitlocker via that account. I can use difference email address but how I can unlock my notebook?

 

Cortana Notebook

In order to enable the Notebook icon in Cortana, I suggest you to check if you have enabled Cortana.

To enable Cortana, please follow the steps below:

• Go to Cortana.
• Go to Settings.
• Turn on “Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts”.
