    I bought a HP Pavilion Laptop from a friend of a friend. He told me at the time that he wiped it so all i needed to do was reinstall windows10 on it. I bought the software but was not able to put window 10 on laptop because an error stated that the storage driver was missing. I was finally able to use a friend computer to download the storage drivers from HP. When turning on computer it asks for administrator password or power-on password. A few months back when i originally bought laptop the admin password was not required. So im not sure why it wants it now. Ive had to install operating syst

    • Are you trying to downgrade or upgrade the BIOS?

    Since you are trying to make changes in bios, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer for assistance.

    We'd like to get more information regarding the issue.

    1. Are you able to sign in Windows?
    2. Once you sign in, does the display remains same as it is in the screen shot?
    We would suggest you to follow steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

    1. Unplug all external devices except for keyboard and mouse.
    2. Load BIOS settings to default.
    3. Then try to boot the computer.
