Windows 10: Bing bar update

Does anyone know why the same Bing bar update - KB2626808 installs every day? Version 7.0 has now installed 49 times since the 17th January according to the update history.

Bing Bar App for Windows 10

Hi Shirley,

We would like to advise you that the Bing Bar app is not compatible yet with Windows 10. Since its creating conflict when installing other device/program on your PC, we recommend uninstalling the Bing Bar app for the meantime by following the steps below:

• In the Windows Search bar, type Apps & features.
• Open the Settings app and click the Programs and Features link under the Related settings section.
• Once you are in the Control Panel window, scroll down and look for the Bing Bar app.
• Right-click the app and click Uninstall.

After performing the steps above, kindly advise us with the result.

Here is the way Bing bar is removed from IE:

Remove Bing Bar toolbar from Internet Explorer
To remove Bing Bar toolbar from IE browser, perform these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer by clicking its icon on the desktop or the taskbar
• Click Tools, located on the right-hand side, and then click Manage Add-ons
• Browse through the options in the right pane to locate Bing Bar
• Select Bing Bar by clicking it, and then click the Disable button at the bottom of the window
• Select the box before Bing Bar BHO under the heading Bing Bar in the Disable Add-on window
• Click the Disable button

Bing bar is a product of Microsoft that updates through Microsoft updates. Anything offered by Microsoft update is definitely not a virus, it is just a coincidence that you are receiving the updates for it every day. If you do not use Bing bar, you can
