Windows 10: Battery Icon is Gray

    Battery Icon is Gray


    I like to keep the Battery Icon turned on in my Taskbas but once in a while it will disappear. When I go to Setting to make sure it is set to On, it always is, but when the Icon is missing, it will be Gray and not operable in the Settings window. I can probably reboot but I need to finish my work. Is there a better way?Thanks -

    BATTERY ICON IS GRAYED OUT

    The battery icon on my windows 10 pro has been grayed and is showing 100% battery life always. Please help me out. I tried with switching on and off the icon in the notification area and also tried gpedit.msc option and disabled the remove battery meter
    option. But all this did not help.

    I attempted to follow your steps however, the battery icon "on" switch is grayed out. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Battery power icon grayed out in Turn system icons on or off

    The battery power icon grayed out in Turn system icons on or off and the battery icon does not appear in the task bar. How can this be fixed?
