    Background noise when stopped talking


    Hi there, Just wondering if there would be any way to stop this. I work in call centre with laptop and Mic Jabra Headset. When I go quiet and the customer is talking, after a few seconds they advise that its very noisy and seem to be able to hear people from around me more clearly, its like an adaptive sound issue. Is there any settings or anything that can be changed to stop this from happening? So it hears me or nothing else. Thanks, Martin

    Software to separate noise from the human voice or song

    For audio, you could try Audacity. You can select a sample period where there is just the noise you want to remove, then filter that from the audio.

    Horrible background noise

    It's Toshiba. One other thing that happens, is that when I turn volume really up, it makes that ringing sound, and that also happened when I was closing my computer to sleep. It's like that noise when you talk to someone and you hear that ringing sound
