as long as i remember my pc blue screens with error code attempted switch from dpcspecs motherboard = b550 gaming x v2cpu is ryzen 7 5800xgpu 3060 gigbyteram 32gb corsair

ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC blue screen (Windows 10)

Hi,

At around 11:00 this morning, I got the message that my copy of Windows 10 was available. I upgraded and everything worked fine up until around 6:45ish this evening, at which point my PC blue screened with the error code "ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC." What
I'm wondering is what the heck this error means, how serious it is, and what caused it.

If this is a duplicate question I apologize; I only saw questions regarding this error in earlier versions of Windows. Hardware seemed the best available category to post this in, but please let me know if there's a better one.

Please feel free to let me know if there's any additional information you need (log files, what I was doing at the time, weird behavior prior to the crash, etc)
