Windows 10: ASUS Computer Keeps on Crashing

Hi I have an ASUS X555LAB which usually works normally. Though after install the April 2020 cumulative update this computer has started to crash. It still works, though it just happens out in the blue. I tried CHKDSK and it said it was fine. Then I tried SFC /scannow and it said it found corrupt files and repaired them. Even did a full virus scan, results was nothing was found. Though it still crashed again.


First Crash:

Stop Code: WDF Violation

File that failed: wdf01000.sys

Happened While: Trying to shutdown computer


Second Crash:

Stop Code: Driver Verifier Detected Violation

File that failed: igdkmd64.sys

Happened While: Just out in the blue


Third Crash:

Stop Code: Driver Verifier Detected Violation
File that failed: igdkmd64.sys
Happened While: Just out in the blue

Something to note: Happened while writing this help ticket, and I turned off verifier before


I will admit that I did turn on Driver Verifier with CMD, though later I turned it off. Any ideas? There are a lot of pictures that I can't replace. Should I consider a backup service? Any help is helpful.

Also, I think this is either because of: The update, or the framework driver.

• What exactly are you accessing/doing when the computer crashes?
• Were you still able to login to the computer after it happens?
• Can you send us a screenshot of the error messages or mini dump that you've received?

store keeps crashing (windows 10)

Hi,

My husband bought an Asus X541S laptop a few days ago.

I have not been able to use the Windows store ever since I got the computer.

I have fun the troubleshooter, fixed time, done all the steps as suggested, but Windows store keeps on crashing every time I click on an app I want to download.

Please help.

 

Computer keeps crashing

when its in the l last step of installing windows vista it crashes i think its a hardware issue because the is the second disk it has done it on ( i returned the other one) any help would be great system is in the system specs its windows vista ultimate also
