Windows 10: [ARM] My System Crashes Repeatedly when Watching Netflix without any Error Message

This issue has been pestering me the whole evening... Needless to say, this is entirely reproduceable and not some random occurrence: I have been watching Netflix Publisher: Netflix, Inc., Version: 7.0.8.0, on my device Microsoft Surface Laptop, 7th Edition, Model 2037, running the current Windows version Windows 11, Version 24H2, Build 26100.2605 for the ARMv8.7-A architecture. It keeps crashing on a low level there's a clearly audible HALT-beep - no 'BSOD' displayed, reboots, and reports event IDs 41 and 142 in the system log. All entries leading up to the crash are 'odd' 12, 25, 1

Cannot get NetFlix


Since installing Windows 10 I cannot watch movies on Netflix. I can access the Netflix website, however, when I click on the show I was watching I get an error message.

I know it's not the Netflix website because I can watch the movies on my other computer.

Any suggestions ??

 

Netflix Error Message

So I actually have a Windows 8 Phone, which is different compared to the other people asking this question, they're all using PC. I get the same error code, Q8156-8000FFFF everytime I try to watch a show or movie on the Netflix app for Windows phone. My
phone is a Nokia Lumia 830, with the latest Netflix and windows update installed. It gives me a message saying " System Configuration Problem. An unexpected error occurred while trying to play your video. This is usually caused by a problem with your audio
driver. " They also give me a link which when I click, just crashes the app. Everything is fine with my audio driver, I only bought this phone a month or two ago so its practically brand new. I have a screenshot of the error message if needed.

There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Netflix app. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to an issue with the application itself.

I suggest that you reset your Netflix application by following the steps provided below:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.

If the issue persists, you can consider uninstalling and reinstalling the device. To uninstall, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Uninstall.
