Windows 10: Are there Windows shortcuts for rotating display for AMD iGPU?

On a Lenovo Slim 7 with AMD integrated graphics, there doesn't seem to be hot keys for rotating the display. I only see the option by right clicking the desktop, go to display properties, and manually selecting screen orientation in the drop down menu, but this takes a lot of time to do. Are there ways to setup hot keys for rotating the display? ctrl alt arrow seems to be a Nvidia thing, but I remember my very old laptop with ATI radeon catalyst did work with the shortcut hot keys.

Another problem I found is that the touchpad does not rotate with the screen on the Slim 7, while my very old laptop does. When going into the slow process of display properties and selecting portrait mode, there is a confirmation button "keep" that I have to press, but doing this with the touchpad that did not rotate makes this very difficult to do. The windows hello facial recognition also does not work when the camera/display is physically rotated to portrait. I have to physically turn my head 90 degrees to get the facial recognition to work.

Please be informed that, rotate option using keyboard shortcut depend on the hardware and software on your PC. Some software, for example Nvidia and AMD drivers, allow you to create ‘Hotkeys’ to rotate the screen using a shortcut such as Shift-Alt-Arrow
keys.

So, as for now I suggest you to follow the steps provided by Amarjeeth Paul to rotate your system screen.

Why does my screen not rotate?


The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
2. Click the Start
   
   menu and select Settings.
3. Click System.
4. Click Display.
5. Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.
