Windows 10: Apps don't ask for admin permissions

Basically since I started using a Microsoft account on my pc, apps don't ask for admin permission anymore. Whenever I try to open one that needs them it just crashes until I right click on it and specify them to open as admin. I've checked creating a local account and they work normally there, is this something that can be fixed by changing any setting in the account? Cos it seems to me that's just better not to use a Microsoft account.I've contacted support but I need to wait two weeks before they review it so I decided to try asking here meanwhile, thanks!

Some apps require certain permissions to work properly. However, you can change the permissions given to the apps by following the below steps:

1. Click on Start.
   
2. Click on Settings and then click on Privacy.
   
3. Under the App Permissions you can change the permissions which are assigned for the apps.
   

However, you can go through the
Microsoft Privacy Statement.
