Windows 10: App that looks like Windows Powershell popping up for a split second in taskbar, RIGHT...

Hello,I've been struggling with this technical problem for the past 3-4 hours now usually I can figure it out myself but this time I am stumped. To give background information, earlier today, I installed a pokemon ROM to play this shouldn't be the problem since I played yesterday and the day before and there were no issues. I started getting problems a few hours into gaming and then found out that randomly my Google Chrome would abruptly close and the reopen but with none of my tabs there. I thought nothing of it at the moment because I assumed I had just pressed a keybind and it did that.

Are you referring to taskbar preview window pop-ups?



If yes, there is no option to disable the taskbar window pop-ups when you hover the mouse, this is by design.

However you may Auto-hide taskbar by following the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the taskbar and select properties.
  
• 
  In the Taskbar tab, Place a tick mark for Auto-hide the taskbar.
  

You may provide your suggestions in the feedback app.

It will be directly referred by our developer’s team for further improvement.

Follow the steps:

• Go to Start, enter the phrase Windows Feedback, and then select Windows Feedback.
• See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.
• If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, and then select Me too.
• To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.
• If you don’t find any similar feedback, select New Feedback, and choose a topic from Select a category and then select a subcategory.
  
• Enter your feedback (the more details the better!), add a screenshot if you can, and you're done.

Taskbar on second monitor on Win7

Anyone know of some good freeware app that will add a taskbar to my second monitor and only show apps on that monitor on its taskbar? I was using Ultramon in XP but wondering if there's something better for Win7. Thanks.

 

Taskbar keeps sort of like refreshing, All icons disappearing for a second them re-appearing

I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if it helps resolve the method:

Note: Please back up all your files and folders before performing this step.

• 
  On the search bar type “Powershell” right click on it and select “Run as Administrator”.
  
• 
  Paste the following command in the Administrator: Windows PowerShell window and press
  Enter key:
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  
• 
  Wait for PowerShell to execute and complete the command. Ignore the few errors (in red color) that may pop up.
  
• 
  Restart computer and check if the issue is resolved
