Windows 10: App Phone Link Windows 11 microphone not working

Hello!The problem I have faced with is Phone Link App on Windows 11 doesn't recognize my microphone at all. And even though I allowed access my mic for other apps in Privacy & Security. I did diffrent variants for solving this such as Repair and Reinstall; checked out my driver updates; used laptop mic. My all mics are up to use but not in this app. Any suggestions ?Thanks!

Phone link and microphone not working

If you can use your microphone in other applications but not in Phone Link, it may be that Phone Link is not correctly identifying your headset microphone.



I suggest you try connecting another headset with a microphone to test if the problem still occurs.



I also suggest that you check if your Phone Link and Windows are up to date. If not, update to the latest version.



Logitech headsets usually install a separate driver. I suggest you try uninstalling this driver and use the basic sound driver that comes with Windows as follows.



Press Win + X to open the Power User Menu. Select "Device Manager".

In Device Manager, expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" category.

Find your Logitech headset device, which will usually be listed as "Logitech" or something related.

Right-click your Logitech headset device. Select "Uninstall device".

In the confirmation dialog box that pops up, check the "Delete the driver software for this device" option (if available)

After the uninstall is complete, restart your computer. Windows will try to automatically install a compatible basic sound driver.
