    App and Browser Control crashing in Windows 11

    Hi MuinAbrar,

    Please check your SecHealthUI package version by running the following command in PowerShell.

    • get-appxpackage *sechealth*
    What's the version reported?

    Also, check the following link.

    If reinstalling the package doesn't help, you may have to repair install Windows 11.

    App and browser control

    Some apps stored, not installed, are shown as threats in App and browser control., example pw102-free.exe. It showed various other programs also. I have removed all of them. Still after removing them also it shows as shown below as if still files are existing. What to do?.

    App & browser control won't show or open

    Hi,

    Based on my testing, this issue happens if Windows Security is set to use the older platform files.

    Please download defender_diag.bat and run it as administrator. The Batch file queries Defender-related settings/Policies and outputs the results to a log file. Upload this log to your OneDrive and share the link here.



    Note: Before uploading the log to your OneDrive, edit the defender.log file and remove your MSA ID if found.

    Meanwhile, pls check out the posts in the following thread, especially the ones on Page #10.
