Any way to re-order Shutdown, Sleep and Restart on Start Menu / Power?

Windows 10 - Start Menu - Power MenuI hate that Restart is at the bottom and Sleep at the top, with Shutdown crammed in the middle. You have no idea how many times I tried shutting down and ended up restarting or sleeping my computer. I don't want to hide Restart and Sleep because I use them occasionally.I just want to be able to arrange the order of these options myself.

    :)

Can I rearrange shutdown options in the Start menu and Login screen

The options via the Start menu and Login screen are (in order):

    • Sleep
    • Shutdown
    • Restart

I'd rather Shutdown be at the bottom to make it simpler to choose it.

  3. missing sleep menu in power

    Hi,

Missing Sleep option in Power menu is usually caused by outdated or corrupted device drivers. For us to better assist you, we would like to ask the following:

    • Have you made any recent changes on your computer prior to the issue?
    • When you check the Power options in Control Panel, did you mean that the Sleep option is not displaying in the Shutdown settings?

If you haven't check the Shutdown settings in Control Panel, we suggest to do so and make sure that the Sleep option is enabled. To check the Shutdown settings, follow these steps:

    • In Cortana search, type control panel.
    • Choose Control Panel from the list.
    • Click System and Security and select Power Options.
    • Click Choose what the power buttons do in the left pane of the window.
    • Under Shutdown settings, put a tick in the Sleep
      box and click Save changes.

If the Sleep option is already enabled and it still doesn't appear in the Power menu, we recommend that you keep the device drivers up-to-date. For your reference, check this article on how to
    update drivers in Windows 10.

Update us with the outcome so we can provide further assistance.

Any way to re-order Shutdown, Sleep and Restart on Start Menu / Power?

Turning off / restarting / putting your PC to sleep when Shut Down / Restart / Sleep button in Start Menu is not working

    Hey all!

I've been finding some helpful tricks these days to help you in some problems. This time, I've found a way to
restart / shutdown / put your PC to sleep / switch user / sign out of your PC in Windows, when your Start Menu / your Power button in
    Start Menu isn't working.

To restart / shutdown / put your PC to sleep / switch user / sign out of your PC, follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows Logo key + Alt + F4 keys together. A window pops up, asking, 'What do you want the computer to do?'.
    • Click the drop-down box, and select the option you want it to do (i.e., Shut Down, Sign Out, Restart, etc.) and click 'Ok' to make your Windows PC do it.

That's all! You can use this method whenever you want. It won't be an improper shutdown. If this won't work for you, you can long-press the Power button on your PC to shutdown.

I'll come up with many more help topics!
