Windows 10: Any stream on my second monitor stutters and freezes when gaming on my main monitor. Help?

PC Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, and an AMD Ryzen 7900XT GPU, two LG Ultragear 165hz 1440p monitorsTo summarize, I like to watch youtube while I play something low effort like cookie clicker, or have some stellaris going on the side. Problem is, whenever I open a game, whatever youtube video or twitch stream I have going immediately begins to lag and stutter and sometimes freeze, to the point where after refocusing on that window, youtube still takes a few seconds to react to me attempting to pause the video, but then is immediately fine afterwards if I don't focus on the game once again. Issues while installing a second monitor in Windows 10

Really? I get a canned answer and nothing else? I posted that I had tried everything that I could find posted online. I did read the post that Andre suggested multiple times prior to posting this request for help. None of it helped.

My computer does not recognize that there is a second monitor is plugged in. The small step of changing the settings so I can put stuff on the second monitor ISN'T the issue. I am not that dumb. in the device manager there is only the single monitor listed
at one point there was a unknown device listed but my computer did not know if it was a monitor or a printer.

There has to be someone out there that knows how to fix this

Dual monitor system with GPU Scheduling enabled video playback issue while gaming.

yeah i notice some issue too, when i'm watching some streaming and start playing a game... the video in the second monitor start stutter and lose frame or freeze for some seconds, just with gpu scheduling enabled, i already noticed that with the developer
driver i tried like 1 month ago, i disabled gpu scheduling too for the moment, maybe can be solved by disabling hardware acceleration in your browser then the gpu is just dedicated for gaming and not for video streaming.

It's like if the gpu is full used by the game ... the video in the second monitor have no room for the playback, that not happen with gpu scheduling disabled...

I don't know if it works that way, or there's still some bugs.maybe can help if u are just playing, but not for multitasking things

at least there will be a reason if it is not enabled by default XD

 

Win 10 - Dual monitor and Mouse/System? stutter

Hi,

I have install Win 10 on a new 2700x build with a XFX RX570 video card. I have an issue I am attempting to deal with.

1) The mouse stutters when I extend the desktop to my second monitor. Stutter = moving the mouse, it will freeze for a short time and then move. It does this constantly. Now I think this is system wide, but the mouse is just want caught my attention/focus.
I see the same behaviour when typing - letter display in notepad stutters, and behaviour in playing video - play back stutters.

If do not extend the desktop to the second monitor the issue goes away. I have tried the latest drivers for the graphics card, mouse, adjusted settings for the mouse (before I saw the behaviour in the keyboard and video), USB power management, windows update
and more I am forgetting.

Suggestions?
