Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15063 for PC and Mobile

I don't think Build 15063 is supposed to show up to Slow Ring Insiders. It is meant for Fast Ring Insiders only. As to your concern regarding slow processing times with this build, I have experienced the same thing with my laptop. Usually (especially the last two builds), the builds were downloaded and ready to be installed within 45-50 minutes on my internet connection. This one, for whatever reason, took close to 90 minutes to be ready to be installed!

So be patient, it might work out, even though it takes significantly longer than previous builds.

 

The rest will be fixed via point releases, it's not a problem.

 

Check the list of outstanding bugs that need fixing before release.

 

Completed in 45 mins, so far it looks fine.

 

An odd thing on my Insider VM I just found.*Confused
The MRT(Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool) version was from Dec 2016*Eek
When I started it, to run, it offered me a link to Microsoft's download site, to get the current version, which I did of course*Wink

So much for their bragging about how safe Windows 10 is becoming.
They're not even updating their basic security stuff, that has been around for years, between builds*Redcarded
The would rather turn my desktop into an Xbox or Windows Phone*Zip

At least Finnish and Swedish Windows 10 build 15063 welcome user to Creators Update, English version just welcoming user to best Windows ever.

Finnish (translates to Welcome to Windows 10 Creators Update):




Compared to English:

 

Different #3 person, too. And logo.

 

That is (I believe) because the Finnish one is when a local account user signed in first time to 15063, step 3. telling to sign in to Microsoft account. In the English one I was already signed as Microsoft account user, therefore no need to tell to sign in.

 

I can't delete Windows.old the standard way in this version ??

MRT is one of the basic AV tools in Windows, and it should be absolutely no problem to ship an updated version for the month, with new builds, or the very least, through Windows Update.

With the bods at M$ working overtime on developing Creator, there are bound to be slipups.
Oh yea of little faith, all we be rectified on official release.....especially if you notify them of their omission.

No expiry date, no watermark. Hope will start getting some innovations after Creator edition becomes official. I checked for updates 6.00 AM and at 6.02 it showed up. Soooo.... now for eternal question "Is this IT" ?
