Windows 10: Android/USB Driver Problem in File Explorer of Windows 11

I had previously installed windows 10 on my same PC when I can easily connect and browse my android smartphone device files through my PC just by connecting it with a USB data cable. But after shifting to Windows 11, my android smartphone is not showing in File Explorer anymore. After connecting my Android smartphone to the PC with USB Data Cable, I can hear the connection sound that, the smartphone is successfully connected to the PC. I do find it on the "Connected Device" list on the settings but can't access it, perhaps it is written under the device name that the necessary driver is not fo

Windows explorer crashes when trying to load files from android device.

Hello everyone!

Got a problem with windows and my android devices. For some reason windows does detect the phone but as soon as I try to open it to acces the data, explorer just stopts to respond and restart after a few seconds (See the video) so far I've tried: Different USB Cables, Uninstalling en reinstalling the mtp drivers, using other android devices, enabling USB debug on android. But none has worked so far.
Has anyone experienced the same problem/knows how to solve this?

ps. The android devices that I tested are not in charching only mode.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Explorer crashes and thumbnails problem

Hi, I hope you can help me.
Windows Explorer is no longer showing thumbnails on files played by Windows Media Player. I've run cmd and regsvr32 shmedia.dll and regsvr32 shimgvw.dll. That seemed to solve the problem...but it created a different one. Now when I try to open a folder on an external hard drive it crashes. I read in an old 2008 post it was an avi file causing the problem and suggested the run cmd regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll. That solved the opening problem but recreated the thumbnail problem. Any help to achieve both functions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
