All Peripherals Momentarily Disconnect Due to BTHUSB Event ID 18 Issue.

Hello everyone,I'm encountering a persistent issue with my PC where all peripherals briefly disconnect and then reconnect without any apparent trigger. This happens randomly, typically during video playback or gaming. The Event Viewer logs the following under the BTHUSB source with Event ID 18 at the time of these incidents:Event Description: Windows cannot store Bluetooth authentication codes link keys on the local adapter. Bluetooth keyboards might not work in the system BIOS during start-up.Here’s a brief overview of my system specs and what I have attempted so far to resolve this:Motherb

  2. BTHUSB Event ID 34 disconnecting all USB devices simultaneously

As the title says, I frequently (every half-hour or so, on average, sometimes more, sometimes less), all USB devices disconnect from my computer simultaneously, and windows writes and event to the log, "BTHUSB" withj Event ID 34. The text of the error reads: "The local adapter does not support an important Low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode. The minimum required supported state mask is 0x491f7fffff, got 0xffffffff. Low Energy peripheral role functionality will not be available."

This is a major issue on my machine because it disconnects my DI box for music recording, my Oculus Rift crashes as a result, my external HDD acts like it's being unplugged, as does my headset. My mouse an keyboard only judder momentarily before resuming normal functionality. But it interrupts literally any ability to use my computer, and it happens extremely frequently. I have tried everything I can possibly think of suggested on the internet, except for a clean windows reinstall (I have done this 3-4 other times in the last 6 months for various issues, and am sick of doing so). This includes:
    BIOS Updates
    Chipset updates
    all windows updates
all driver updates (chipset, bluetooth, gpu, etc. the only one I can't seem to figure out how to update manually is USB3.0)
    System file checker (no errors)
    DISM cleanup (no errors)

I will upload/provide any/all information requested in order to fix this issue. I'm at my wit's end trying to solve this problem.

I went ahead and attached the complete computer diagnostic tool zip file thingy from the BSOD section of this site.DESKTOP-04NL2AG-12_20_2018_Thu__13508_54.zip

  3. Error: BTHUSB event id 5

    Hello everyone,

Hope you all are doing well in this unprecedented times(Corona pandemic 2020).

    Here is the problem:

I have searched whole of the internet for an issue regarding the auto-restart of my PC whenever it shuts down(my PC automatically turns ON after I shut it down), it does not throw any error or any other blue screen issues during shut down. One of the solutions
in the internet said to check system logs in the event viewer against the time of shutdown.

Fortunately, I found an error: BTHUSB with event id 5 stating:
The Bluetooth driver expected an HCI event with a certain size but did not receive it.

Can this error be the reason why my PC restarts automatically?

And if not still how to resolve this and how to overcome the problem of auto restarting.

    Any help is appreciated.

    I'm currently on Windows 10.

Detailed description from the event viewer is as follows:

All Peripherals Momentarily Disconnect Due to BTHUSB Event ID 18 Issue.

    Warning Event ID 25 BTHUSB

I have a Bluetooth ear piece I've attempted to update the firmware for multiple times. Every time I've tried to, the device fails to update. There are no instruction on how to up the earpiece other than "download the updater software, run it and hit the update button". When I check the Event Viewer for the error, I get "The local adapter does not support a critical Low Energy feature, the Low Energy functionality will therefore be disabled" and the source is BTHUSB with event ID 25. I've tried to locate a solution online and nothing with that specific source and event id combination shows up. The earpiece is a Sennheiser Presence.
