Windows 10: alienware driver issue

so i have an alienware laptop, got it for uni as i am often running a lot of large softwares at once. I have had the issue with the brightness not changing at all no matter what i do. i know this is a driver issue, but im not very tech savy at all. could someone step me through exactly what to do, and what driver will fix this issue? it hasnt bothered me much until recently when i started working more at night. specifics are;Alienware m15 ryzen Ed. R5processor- AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHzif someone has any idea how to fix this, that would be great. i have 0 idea

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Alienware Area 51 m15x BIOS Update Released

If you were among the group of people experiencing overheating issues with your Alienware Area 51 m15x laptop, then there are some good news for you. A new BIOS update, version X29b P3A30 is now available. The update allegedly allows VGA fans to increase up to 5400 rpm and thus better cool the GPU. To obtain the new BIOS, you'll need to email the m15x support line (L: Area51_m15x@alienware.com). In reply you should receive a link to the BIOS .zip archive. Once you download the small file, Alienware recommends to follow the steps described in the Read full story marker.



Open Nero Ultra Edition, click Backup, and then click “Burn Image to Disc.” Next, select the file “m15x_x29b.iso from the unzipped folder.

• Plug your AC adapter in
• Disconnect all third-party peripherals
• Don’t turn off the computer or restart it during the update
• Don’t eject your DVD/Blu-ray drive during the update.

Steps:

• Open BIOS by tapping F12 during boot
• Set BIOS to boot from your CD-ROM drive first
• Save and exit
• Upon reboot, the BIOS flash update will proceed
• Click “Yes” through the prompts
• Restart

Windows 10 HDMI audio issues in Dell (ALIENWARE) M11XR3

This might have caused due to any compatibility issues with the Video/Audio card drivers. As a first step, I suggest you to install all the updates listed in Windows Updates and check if the same issue occurs. This is to check if this is caused due to any
updates related issues.

If still the issue persists, then I suggest you to try installing the drivers in compatibility mode and check if the issue persists. This is to check if this is caused due to any compatibility issues.
