  1. AIapplication app on my computer. Is it a virus?

I had a virus in the past, and i dont know if this is a remnant. I havent really noticed anything, but sometimes there are glitches or something that make me suspicious. when i try to remove it from Control Panel, it redirects me to their own uninstaller, which seems suspicious since i cant just remove it outright.

    :)

  3. Clean the Virus

    Hi,

Virus infection usually happens on a computer when it is exposed to an infected website or removable devices. For us to help you clean the malware on your device, we would need you to answer the following questions:

    • Which build and version of Windows are you using?
    • Did you encounter any error messages related to having a virus infection on your device?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In the meantime, we suggest running any available antivirus software on your PC. It would be very helpful to us if you could also provide the result of the antivirus scan process.

    Looking forward to your response.

  4. AIapplication app on my computer. Is it a virus?

Need someones adavice what to do with a virus file atched to a download from microsoft store Download app infected is FocusDo.exe

    Hi, C woodward

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

If you have downloaded a file from the Microsoft Store that you believe is infected with a virus, here are the steps you should take:

    • Disconnect your computer from the internet. This will prevent the virus from spreading to other computers on your network.
    • Run a virus scan. Use your antivirus software to scan your computer for viruses. If a virus is detected, follow the instructions provided by your antivirus software to remove it.
    • Delete the infected file. Once the virus has been removed, delete the infected file from your computer.
    • Restart your computer. This will help to ensure that the virus has been completely removed from your computer.

You have mentioned that the infected file is FocusDo.exe. This file is associated with the FocusDo app, which is available in the Microsoft Store.

Here are the steps you should take to deal with this specific file:

    • Open the Task Manager. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
    • Find the FocusDo.exe process. It may be listed under the “Apps” or “Background processes” tab.
    • Right-click on the FocusDo.exe process and select “End task.” This will stop the virus from running.
    • Delete the FocusDo.exe file. You can find this file in the following location:
    • Restart your computer. This will help to ensure that the virus has been completely removed from your computer.

Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to use your computer safely again. However, it is always a good idea to keep your antivirus software up to date and to be careful about what files you download from the internet.

    Best Regards
