Windows 10: After reinstalling Windows 10 can´t find Spotify among programsbut it´s thereand unable to...

Hello,I reinstalled Windows 10 with keeping my local files option so it kept installed programs and apps. Most of them I could find in the Settings-Apps and was able to un/reinstall it but Spotify wasn´t there although it´s still installed on my PC. I tried everythingalso 3rd party software to find and unistall it but nothing works, Windows don´t recognize it as an actual installed program. Can someone help me with this please?Thank you!

Unable to integrate Cortana with Spotify.

We can imagine how difficult it could be when app feature do not work the way they supposed to. However, could you please let us know from where you got the Spotify app?



In the meantime, we would suggest you to follow steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

1. Go to Settings > Time & Language.
   
2. Click on Region & Language.
   
3. Check if country and language is set to United States and
   English (United States).
   
4. Then set up Cortana again.
   
5. Log out from your Spotify account and log in again.
   
6. Then try integrating Cortana with
   Spotify and check.
   

We would also suggest you to run troubleshoot for Microsoft Store Apps if you have installed the app from Microsoft Store by referring to

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.



You may also want to refer
Fix problems with the Start menu or Cortana for details.

[Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops!

If you face any issue while using Spotify on Windows 10, you may try to install Spotify in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

To install Spotify in compatibility mode follow these steps:

a. Right-click on the setup file of the program and select “Properties”.

b. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

c. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select latest Windows version from the drop down list.

d Let Spotify install and then check the functionality.
