Windows 10: advice where to go from here?

Discus and support advice where to go from here? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I ran the MS safety scan tool full scan and it found like 30 or more infected files is said it found and removed VirTool:Win32/DefenderTamperingRestore...     advice where to go from here?


    I ran the MS safety scan tool full scan and it found like 30 or more infected files is said it found and removed VirTool:Win32/DefenderTamperingRestore I ran another full scan to see if it found any more and still found over 30 infected files except this time when finished it said it found nothing, I decided just for the heck of it and the sake of not know what else to do I'm running another full scan and already up to 30 infected files again.

    Clipboard the size of a postage stamp, advice please.

    My clipboard is the size of a postage stamp, I can't read anything and when I try to click the 3 dots i am offered pin,delete. I tried to resize it with Notepad as suggested in a previous post but it disappears every time I touch a key. I would appreciate advice but I find most advice assumes much more knowledge than I have.

    Step by tedious step would be much appreciated as I am in my eighties and wrestling with a Win 10 laptop after years with Windows 7.
