Windows 10: Advent HD Webcam - Wont install

Hi. I just bought a webcam. It says on the box "Plug and play", but when I plug it into any USB Port, it comes up in the device manager but won't work because it says there are no drivers installed. Checking the settings, it says no drivers are needed. The error / fault code is 45. The camera works on other computers. Please help.

  How are you connecting webcam to the computer? If you are using external webcam what is the model number of the webcam?

Step 1.

I suggest you to uninstall/reinstall the webcam driver and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Now click on Imaging devices to expand, right click on the
  device and click on uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done installing the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the webcam driver.
  

If the still persist, try the below steps.

Step 2.

I recommend you to update the webcam driver and check.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Now click on Imaging devices and right click on it and
  update the software.

Have you tried deleting the device from device manager and then re-adding it?

Try these steps if you haven’t:

Press windows and x keys together and then click on device manager from the list.

Under camera’s right click on webcam HD-3000

Click on uninstall device.

Remove the camera, restart your computer and then plug in the camera again.

Let the device install and check if the camera works normally.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Search for the relevant driver.
• Right-click on the Webcam driver and select
  Update Driver Software.
• Restart your system

Method 2: Uninstall and then re-install
WebCam driver

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Search for the relevant driver.
• Right-click on the Webcam driver and select
  Uninstall.
• Once, you have uninstalled the driver do not restart, go to the Manufacturer's website and download the latest
  Webcam driver
• Double-click (run) and install the driver setup file.
• Restart your system.
